Where to play Correspondence Chess

International Correspondence Chess Federation (ICCF)

The most important global CC organisation, running many national and international tournaments on its own webserver.

If you are not yet ready to play internationally-rated CC, a good place to start for you may be:

Scheming Mind, an independent server group which is affiliated to ICCF.

Other long established alternatives:

International Email Chess Group (IECG)

Many of their events are known on the LSS server.

International Email Chess Club (IECC)

A free tournament starting soon:

The German e-mail Correspondence Chess Club (DESC) invites entries from everyone for the DESC Open. It is a free event: no entry fees. register by 19 September 2009 by sending an email to michaelschirmer@desc-online.de. Include the following details:

a) your family name; b) first name; c) email address; d) the remark "Anmeldung zum DESC-Open 2009".
